HERIBURG GYMNASYUM COESFELD

Heriburg-Gymnasium is a medium-sized secondary school for gifted students (grammar school) in Northwestern Germany. Currently, about 650 students receive a comprehensive liberal arts and science education at our school.

Heriburg-Gymnasium offers bilingual classes to students with a special interest in foreign language learning. In this bilingual programme, the subjects History and Geography are taught in English, ensuring that the bilingual students are used to employing English as a language tool to address questions and problems which are not inherently related to English itself but rather to significant matters in other disciplines.

To equally foster education in the natural sciences at our school, there is an additional MINT project (MINT meaning Maths, Information Technologies and Natural Sciences). The students participating in this project do interdisciplinary project work, focusing particularly on hands-on experience and pressing problems of interest in the natural sciences.
